M.H. Alshaya Co. is currently recruiting for a number of IT professionals to support eGroups continued growth plans for 2014. We are seeking to appoint experienced individuals with expertise in the Business Solutions domain, at all levels, into the following roles:
- Senior Manager - eCommerce- Senior Manager - CRM & Digital- Senior Manager - Product Development- Manager - Business Solutions (GOLD Business Analyst)- Business Solutions Engineer
Senior Manager - eCommerce/CRM & Digital/Product Development
Reporting to the Director E-Group, the Senior Managers will focus on eCommerce, CRM & Digital or Product Development. This is a leadership role, responsible for architecting and leading solution delivery on Aldata GOLD Central, Shop and Mobile platforms. The Senior Managers will need to show a proven ability to work in a very demanding and dynamic environment, be a hardcore solutions person with solid experience in architecting and deliver stock management solutions on GOLD Central, Shop and Mobile systems -
- Architect, define, develop and establish integration with other systems that interact with GOLD and vice versa.- Be able to work with business teams directly and provide solutions.- Participate and lead delivery of business requirements and opportunities that come up from time to time.- Manage on-going and new development and delivery solutions, complying with the GOLD development and internal development standards.- Build a team to support development.- Provide line management of the development team including full responsibility for the recruitment, performance management and retention of staff.- Support solutions development and rollout of GOLD Central, Shop and Mobile solutions for brands across various markets with the project teams.
Skills & Experience
Senior Manager - Product Development will have solid experience in architecting, building and delivering enterprise business intelligence and data warehouse using Oracle/Business Objects/COGNOS technologies/solutions.
Senior Manager - E-commerce should have solid experience in architecting, building and delivering enterprise web sites using primarily Magento platform.
Senior Manager - CRM/Digital should have solid experience in architecting, building and delivering enterprise CRM/Loyalty solution using Oracle/Microsoft/Micros platforms
Manager - Business Solutions (GOLD Business Analyst)
From our base in Kuwait, our IT department supports all areas of our retail and warehouse operations. At the close of each trading day, all sales figures and stock movements are downloaded to our head office and to our partners via our secure state-of-the-art IT system. Careful analysis allows the correct decisions to be taken for each individual business unit. EPOS technology is installed in every outlet in each country, and a web enabled communications network is in place. Each international brand has its own dedicated management team to service their particular requirements.
The Role
Part of the Alshaya Egroup and reporting to the Senior Manager Software Development (GOLD), the Business Analyst (GOLD) is responsible for designing solutions on GOLD Central and Shop platforms that are consistent across all the brands and countries covered by Alshaya businesses.
- Show a proven ability to work in a very demanding and dynamic environment, be a hardcore solutions person with solid experience in designing stock management solutions on GOLD Central and Shop systems.- Design data flows in order to ensure a consistent integration with other systems that interact with GOLD and vice versa.- Be able to work with business teams directly to collect requirements and support user acceptance tests.- Be able to work with development teams in order to answer questions regarding any GOLD solut
